PDR-6000 is a proprietary blend of fast-acting solvents designed for the removal of pipe dope and hydrocarbon residues from casing and work string in a minimum amount of contact time. . It is also very effective in removing diesel and synthetic base muds. PDR-6000 is a great alternative to PDR-4000 when higher flash points are needed. Used as directed, PDR-6000 will remove pipe dope and assist in the removal of solids and particulate matter, including iron scale, which could severely affect well production if not removed prior to completion operations.

PDR-6000 is used to pickle the workstring prior to production operations or during well interventions to maximize the production of oil and gas when higher flash points are needed. Please consult a RIG-CHEM representative for an engineered recommendation.


PDR-6000 was specifically formulated to replace the more hazardous products commonly used in the past while increasing the flash point. PDR-6000 is safer to human health, easier to handle, and is an effective alternative to aromatic solvents. No known carcinogens or materials that produce chronic health effects are used in PDR-6000 such as chlorinated hydrocarbons, low flash point alcohols, benzene, toluene, or xylene. PDR-6000 contains no heavy metals, caustics, and is rapidly biodegradable. No components are listed on SARA Title III, Section 302 Table. PDR- 6000 contains no harsh, abrasive or reactive constituents. No surface damage to metals including steel, aluminum, iron, bronze, etc should be realized with the use of this product
